What is a Healthy Weight for you?
We have all seen the weight charts and the suggested body mass index (BMI) which are suggestions geared towards the perfect size. In an ideal world, we would all be able to fit into those ranges on the charts.
Ideal and Reality don’t always line up, especially when it comes to bodies. It makes setting a total weight loss goal a bit difficult. If you have a lot of muscle, you will weigh more, but could be a smaller size than someone who weights less than you.
I prefer to set smaller weight loss goals, starting with 10% of your weight, when reaching that goal, we set another. Your ultimate weight goal really depends on getting to a weight that you are comfortable in your clothes and feel good about yourself. You can then give yourself a 5 pound window that will help you stay lose to your goal.
